Patrol Force
"Security and service."
An ongoing project of the Genesis Foundation from the time of their formation, the Patrol Force was originally intended to be a special task unit to track down rouge metalface and bring them to justice. Training and education were the cornerstones of the development and there was no greater emphasis than on the danger caused by lack of knowledge.
The unit was put through three test runs; one was unsuccessful, but the later two returned positive results. Rumors speculate that the test missions were classified and were reported inaccurately. However, officially, the development team as well as the four surviving members of the unit all claim that the tests were routine maneuvers performed in an undisclosed arctic testing facility.
Plans were on track to offer the unit's services to Earth Council in late 2158. However, with the appearance of the Strike Command in 2157, Genesis decided to accelerate the process and approached EC with their plans early. Due to EC procedures, (making use of any service which have military effect and impact requires lengthy council reviews and probationary periods) the unit would be unavailable to combat the Strike Command threat soon enough.
However, one EC Representative moved rights to Genesis to grant militaristic jurisdiction in any matter involving metalface or metalface technology across the entire Earth. Three days later, Patrol Force was announced as a police state formed to defend against metalface threats.
Shortly after it's induction, Patrol Force found itself far outnumbered and without effective leadership. The development team was called in to find a leader that had both military and police background, was mentally and emotionally stable, and had already lived his full human life and was ready for a new life. Two months later, Servite Omega Gamalon was forged from a 120 year old ex-army, police commandant. Captain Gamalon took to his new role with more eagerness than expected.
With Gamalon's leadership, Patrol Force was able to defend against a massive onslaught from the Strike Command which could have destroyed two major cities, the Earth Station and crippled Earth Council's ability to exert force over existing profiles.
Today, Patrol Force continues to build it's roster and has branches in Crystal City, Earth City and on Earth Station 2.
