Every character has a good and bad natural tendency. These two nature are always in a state of balance until the character decides to allow them to become unbalanced. These natural tendencies effect a character's personality and disposition and can often result in effecting a NPC's reaction.
These natures are merely a guideline for character performance. They help to make decisions and influence others. However, none of these natures are extreme to any degree meaning that if a character is selfless, it does not automatically dictate that the character would be willing to sacrifice their life for someone else. These should simply sway everyday decisions and not life altering events.
Players should feel free to explore these natures, but should not feel limited by them. Afterall, every soul has the capability to deviate from their nature.
